Nancy is a native of Florida, born near the town of Chattahoochee in April of 1956. Nancy has five sisters and one brother. She attended Chattahoochee Elementary School until the 3rd grade. Her family then moved to Greensboro where she finished school and married and had a family. Nancy and her family moved several times but finally located in Tallahassee, FL.
Nancy's employment background were with several private companies. She also worked for the State of Florida and the City of Tallahassee. She later owned her own business and attended Lively and Tallahassee Community College. All the while, her steadied enjoyment was attending Christian Heritage Church where she has been a member for more than 30 years.
Nancy has been married to John Preston Strickland for 24 years and they have four children, John, Laura, Margaret, Andy and two grandchildren, Storm and Montana.
Nancy and Preston enjoy fishing, traveling and spending time with each other, family and friends.
